Do all the members of an insect order share the same family?

Currently I am taking an entomology class and one of my projects is to collect 60 specimens. All I have to do is get them to order and family and I get full credit.

I have all the orders necessary but I am noticing a recurring theme that when I identify the ones in a paritcuar order I get the same family.

For example one of the orders I have is Orthoptera (grasshoppers, crickets and katydid families, I think). I have 3 grasshoppers and when I checked they all had the same family because they were grasshoppers.

Is this a good rule to follow or am I messing up somehow?
