A rectangular floor tile has a width of 765mm. It’s area is 1 square metre. What is it’s length to the nearest millimeter

Since area = length x width, divide the given area by the given width to get the length.  But first, either convert the area to mm2 or the length to meters.  I will do the latter.
 
A = LW
 
L = A/W
 
A = 1 m2
 
W = 765 mm = 0.765 m
 
L = A/W = (1 m2)/(0.765 m) ≅ 1.307 m = 1307 mm
