For 60 minutes.  degrees involved =    360 degrees
1   minute -----------                     = 360/60
21 minutes ------------   (360/60)*21
                                    =126 degrees

             In order to answer this question you need two pieces of information. This first is how many degrees in a circle and how many minutes in an hour. The number of degrees in a circle/ by the number of minutes in a hour will tell you how many degrees covered in a minute. If you then multiply this by 21 you will get your answer.
