A rectangular box has a square base the area of which is 64 cm2. The height of the box is 12 cm. Find the length of the interior diagonal of the box.

I cant figure out have to do this problem.

Draw a diagram. 
First determine the diagonal of the base.
The base is 8 x 8 the diagonal is 8√2  (Verify with Pythagoras
The diagonal of the box is the hypotenuse of a right triangle with the
diagonal in the base as the short leg and the height of the box 12 being the long leg.
diagonal = √((8√2)2 + 122)   by Pythagoras
