OK let's call the first number x, the second number then is 5x and the third number is x+100. we know that the sum of the numbers has to be 415. So we can write

x+5x+(x+100)=415

7x+100=415 and subtracting 100 on both sides of the equation

7x=315 and now dividing by 7 we find

x=45, 5x=225 and x+100=145
