This is a unit conversion problem
900 rev/min *1min/60sec
which is 15 rev/sec

If it turns 900 times each minute and there are 60 seconds in a minute then it turns 900/60 times each second 900/60=15 revolutions per second.
 
(900 revolutions/minute)/(60 seconds/minute)=15 revolutions per second.
