simplify (4x^2+8xy+3y^2 / x+y) / ( (2x+3y / 2x-y) / (x^2-y^2 / 4x^2-y^2) ) and state restrictions on the variables.

this is for grade 11 math. The unit is functions.

You should factor each term completely.  Then perform some cancellation of terms to reduce the expression.  Since you have two distinct variables, you just give the x and y values that make the denominator equal to zero (after cancellation of terms).
