I only ask because I need help step by step, not just to be given a forumla. Please help.
Given the complex number a+bi, the conjugate of this is defined as a-bi.
 
The theorem in the link I sent basically outlines an important result allowing you to find another complex root given one;
as long as our polynomial has real coefficients, and we know a+bi (a and b real) is a complex root of the polynomial, then we can be sure that its conjugate is also a root.
