simple interest + principal = $7,520
(principal)*(interest)*(periods) + (principal) = $7,520
(principal)*(.0525)*(6) + (principal) = $7,520
(principal)*(0.315) + (principal) = $7,520
(1.315)*(principal) = $7,520
principal = $5718.6311
