Think about where the Europeans were exploring and the places they knew and compare this to the American Indians and their view of the world. To start both sides would put emphasis on the part of the world they come from. So for the European map Europe would be at the center and prominent. Likely Europe would be fairly accurate as they have extensive knowledge of the area by living in it. The European map would also include areas they knew of and traded with such as China and Africa. These areas would not be as well mapped out because European's view of them would be more limited.

Now think of American Indians. Were they exploring the world like Europeans? Were they trading with Europe, Africa or Asia? The areas that American Indians were most interested in were the areas around them and their tribes. As such their maps would not have information on Africa, Europe or Asia though they may guess at land masses outside of their own continent.
