Maddi, I think you might be mixing 2 problems up.  Is it a prism or a pyramid?

There are four triangles here

two triangles with base 11.5 cm and height 11.5cm
two triangles with base 8.5 cm and height 11.5 cm

Surface are = 2x( 1/2 x 11.5 x 11.5)    +    2x(1/2 x 8.5  x 11.5)

=>  132.5 + 97.75 = 230.25 cm2
