y= x+3
I assume the point provided is NOT (5+0) but rather (5,0).
This equation is in the form of...
y=mx+b
m is the slope.
b is the y-intercept.
The slope is 1.
Any line parallel to it also has a slope of 1, but different y-intercept.
y=x+b
Let's plug-in the one point provided...
0=x+5
-5=x
y=x-5
