x+1=second integer
x+2=third integer
 
(x)+(x+1)+(x+2)=63
3x+3=63
Let's subtract 3 from both sides to proceed to isolate x...
-3+3x+3=63-3
3x=60
Let's divide both sides by 3...
3x/3=60/3
x=20

x+1=21
