what is the answer to this ?

when an amusement park opened,the counter on the turnstile at the entrance read 1278. 7 hours later,the counter read 3672.

Here's how this problem is done:
You first need to figure out the total number of people that entered the park in those seven hours. To do that, you subtract 1278 from 3672, so:
Now, in order to figure out how many people per hour Entered in those 7 hours, you just take the number of total people that entered (2394), and divide by the number of hours (7), so:
2394/7=342. That's your answer!
