If the function f includes the points (2,6), (3,8), and (4,5) (I'm assuming)

A) f(2)=6 look at the placement of x and y and remember that f(x) IS y for all intents and purposes right now.

C) if f(x)=8, find a coordinate with the y value 8, and look at the 8 value. We get 3

E) Since f(4)=5, and g(4)=3(4)+5=17

5-17= -12

I think some notation has been incorrectly typed.

b. g(2) means in g(x), x = 2 and should replace x in the function so g(2) = 3(2) + 5 which is g(2) = 11

d. If g(x) = 26, then 26 = 3x + 5, 26 - 5 = 3x, 21 = 3 x, 21/3 = 3/3 x, 7 = x
