The x-intercept is the place where y is equal to 0. So set y=0 and solve for x

-4x + 5*0 = -8

x = 2 ==> x-intercept is at (2,0)

The y-interecept is the place where x is equal to 0. So set x=0 and solve for y

-4*0 + 5y = -8

y = -8/5 ==> y-intercept is at (0,-8/5)
