Anna helped me prepare for the math portion of the SAT using the online whiteboard. She is very personable, and will explain problems in multiple ways if necessary to help her student understand. I would recommend her as a tutor for anyone looking to improve their SAT math score.

Knowledgeable and Helpful Tutor
Mrs. Caruso is a wonderful person, very attentive and patient. She helped me gain confidence in the ACT reading section. Although I was a bit hesitant to use the online platform she provides, I found it to be very effective. She also provides her tutees with notes, and is very willing to tailor her teaching style for each individual. I would highly recommend her services!

SAT prep is what Anna tutored this time. She is very knowledgeable, patient, and able to explain topics clearly and we focused particularly on the reading section strategies which proved very helpful. Effective Tutoring and Great Results
Anna prepared me for my first SAT exam by having me go through real past papers, which ensured that the questions were exactly the kind that would come up on the test. After each practice test I did, we went through the questions that I got wrong, and Anna helped me understand how to solve the type of question by teaching me the relevant skill and/or explaining the key terms used by the exam board. For math, we went through problems on an online whiteboard, which I found very helpful. Another thing that was particularly useful was Anna's option elimination strategy for reading comprehension questions. It was only a matter of weeks before my skills were honed and I was getting top marks in my SAT tests.

Knowledgeable and Patient Tutor
Anna is tutoring me in ACT prep online. She helped me on all four sections of the ACT, and went over each in depth. She is amazing at it. On the reading section she went over key points and strategies. She taught me how to quickly identify incorrect answers and eliminate them. She would take notes for me during our lessons and would send them to me after which was really helpful for me. On the math, we use the WyZant whiteboard and went over some of the practice problems together, and taught me how to make long word problems shorter and step by step process to solve math problems. For the English section, Anna taught me rules for semicolons, colons, comma, and dashes. She made example sentences, and her rules were simple and easy to understand. Lastly for the Science section, she went over the questions I missed on the practice tests and made sure I understood them. She also taught me how to quickly find information just by looking at charts and graphs. After each lessons Anna would have me do these practice tests and my practice test scores increases a lot. Overall Anna is a great tutor! She is amazing, caring, and really patient with me. Thank you Anna!

Perfect on-line tutor for ACT prep !
I had my first on-line ACT tutoring lesson with Anna and it went better than I could ever have expected. This was my first on-line tutoring session so I was not sure what to expect. Anna was very prepared and we covered so much material in one hour. I loved her enthusiasm and how she relates different scenarios that I may encounter on the ACT test. I have scheduled additional on-line sessions to continue my preparation. With Anna's tutoring I already feel more confident thinking about my upcoming ACT test. I 110% recommend Anna for any on-line tutoring!!

Kind and Knowledgable!
We had never done online tutoring before and were fortunate enough to meet Anna. My daughter's tutoring sessions have been for SAT Math. Math has always been rough for my daughter. Anna has the rare ability to actually make math relatable and takes the time to go step by step with her until she truly understands a concept. That's what we needed. Sometimes teachers and tutors unknowingly rush their students and assume that the material is sinking in. It's been a tremendous boost for my daughter to have more confidence in her math skills. This will serve her well during the SAT and down the road in her high school math classes. Anna uses the Online Whiteboard which is like having an interactive classroom right in front of you. What Anna writes, my daughter can see in real time. We HIGHLY recommend Anna to any family considering online tutoring. She's the best!!
