It has been said that good teachers make the best of a pupil’s means and great teachers foresee a pupil’s end and David falls into the category of what a great teacher is supposed to look like. My son had just taken his first attempt at the SAT’s and wasn't happy with his score. David came in and was able to provide my son with strategy concepts and the confidence he needed to substantially raise his SAT score the second time around. He has shown to be very knowledgeable, supportive, and patient in his teaching ability as he took the time to thoroughly explain and give my son great tips on how to seek out the best answer to tricky SAT questions and clarify for him why one answer would excel over the others. Out of the three tutors my son had during this season, my son has expressed that although they were all great, David was by far his absolute favorite. His way of engaging him in a fun and enthusiastic manner has made an impact on how he has started to take exams in other subjects as well. Very Respectful and Patient Tutor

When my professor returned my essay ungraded and asked me to rewrite it, I hit a hard wall of desperation. This was a class I was taking specifically to transfer to a UC! However, David helped me immensely. I am not a native English speaker and wasn't ready for an intense winter-semester English class. I had good ideas, but lacked organization and grammar. David helped me with his patience and great experience. The end result was not only a perfect grade, but also my improvement in writing.
