Shin Shin is an excellent tutor!
We have been studying with her for eight months now, and she is PATIENT. I am a good student of languages and Chinese is difficult. I feel she gave us a good basic knowledge before moving on to a standard textbook. Sometimes life intrudes on studying, and she is flexible with scheduling, and does not make you feel stupid if you have not been able to study as much as you would have liked. She is doing all aspects of the Chinese language with us, including reading, speaking, listening. We just began some character recognition, and a little writing characters too. She has an excellent depth of knowledge and uses solid teaching strategies. She is always willing to help outside of the classroom by text message or phone calls.
