It was very hard for me to stay completely focused on studying because I just got married, and I initially was scheduled to take my exam before my wedding. It was so nice talking to someone who has seen my progress to know if I was ready to test that early or if I should wait until after the wedding to test. She was very honest with me and said that one more week would be very beneficial, so I waited another week after my wedding and just passed yesterday with 80 questions!

When my niece asked me if I would officiate her wedding, my first thought was, "Absolutely not, are you nuts?!" Instead, I replied, "Of course!" and immediately set out to find someone to help me get through this. To say I don't like speaking in front of groups of people is putting it mildly but with Gabrielle's patient help and encouragement I went from dread to actual enjoyment.

On a practical note, Reem is always on time for our lessons and is very communicative by email. I know she is highly recommended for students who are looking to improve their formal Arabic, but if you are looking for someone who can help you with colloquial Levantine (Lebanese, Syrian, Palestinian, Jordanian) Arabic, she is the tutor for you. I can definitely see my Arabic improving and I can't wait to show off my skills to my in-law for our wedding in December!
