Akeeka, THANK YOU!! Thank you for your compassion, leadership, faith, resilience and believing in me when I didn’t at times. Thank you also for your continuous support and motivation even when I thought about giving up. I am inspired by your dedication and I am truly grateful for you and your passion in wanting to help future nurses succeed. As Maya Angelou once said “be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud” and Akeeka was just that for me and I know she will be for you too!!

I have worked extremely hard to get to where I am today by achieving a 4.0 GPA at my current community college in addition to gaining leadership positions in various student clubs. Previously I was confident in my grades but I feared that my poor writing skills would leave me doomed. I can now say that I am confident in my essays, and I can rest easy knowing that if I don’t get in somewhere, it won’t be due to the quality of my essays.

Because I am a native of China, Bob helped me understand the difficult texts and concepts of courses such as Business Law, Market Strategy, Leadership and Management, Project Management, and many Harvard Business School Case Studies. Bob would often work with me late into the evenings and sometimes overnight to ensure I met the submission deadline. He also helped me prepare my resume, prep for internship interviews, and taught me about critical thinking.
