I now feel confident that I will get an A on this next exam and I truly feel a new sense of empowerment and have a deeper, richer understanding of what I'm learning, as well as a greater appreciation for integral calculus (if you're unfamiliar, that's the more challenging branch of calculus). If you need a math tutor for any level, don't waste your time elsewhere. I know I won't. P.S. I emailed him at midnight and he came the very next day!
Then he concentrates on that thing only. If I ask him for broader basic concepts, he does that, too. I had an open-notes math midterm test last night (basic algebra, equation of the line, functions, graphing, etc.). I got an A. I don't think I have ever had an A on a math test in my life, let alone under these circumstances. I still have the anxiety, but I now have hope. Kirk is expensive, but the cost/benefit analysis for this integral part of my education makes the decision a no-brainer.
