I'm interested in learning Hebrew and am wondering if meeting up once a week for two hours enough to be proficient by the end of summer.
I don't know if it helps, or if it makes learning Hebrew any easier, but Arabic is my first language.

I am looking for: Hebrew lessons once a week starting on Monday 05/22. Duration: 10/12 weeks, until mid July. Blocks of 1.5 or 2 hours per session PRIORITY : Consistency. It's very important to have a lesson every week. Not very flexible with timings: must be Monday evenings at the moment (7-9 would be perfect! I haven't been able to find a tutor who can offer consistency for the next 10/12 weeks.

My eighth grade son was Bar Mitzvahed last year and we recently spent some time in Israel (where his grandmother was born, but she lives here in NY). He would like to go in a different direction from his bar mitzvah studies and learn how to speak conversational Hebrew and continue learning to read and write Do you speak Hebrew with an Israeli accent - that's what we'd like ideally.

I am a student currently attending Molloy college. I have a pre-existing background in Hebrew stemming from Hebrew school and Bar Mitzvah studies, but I am interested in learning conversational Hebrew.

My 13 year old daughter will be attending tennis academy in Boca starting August. We are looking for a private Hebrew tutor who might be willing to start online over the summer but then continue in person once she has relocated. She has k-4th grade in a jewish day school so she has a background but would really like to become fluent in Hebrew reading and writing. I would say she is an advanced beginner right now.

We'd like classes on Saturday.

I have two daughters, ages 6 & 8, and we live in Santa Monica. I want them to learn to speak, read, and write Hebrew. I would be interested in weekly lessons at our house for both girls. I'm a native Hebrew speaker so I can reinforce the tutor's work with them throughout the week by speaking, singing, and reading books in Hebrew.
