I'm interested in in-home Greek language tutoring for my nine-year-old.
- Posted by Molly,
We were wondering if a tutor would be interested in teaching. We only want to expose students to the Greek alphabet and some minimal teaching. The classes are 8 weeks on a Monday for 50 minutes.

My wife and I are interested in learning how to properly speak and write Greek. We are seeking a tutor proficient in these areas.

I'd likes someone to help me understand and speak modern Greek.

We are 2 possible students: father and son. My son is a drummer, he graduated from the Fine Arts Museum School with many courses at Berklee - he's in Berklee alum group. We have a family house on Samos Island, Greece, that we visit every year...now it's time to learn Greek...both of us, or at least my son.

I have 2 daughters aged 7 & 9 whom I'd like to become conversant in modern Greek. I've covered some of the basics with them (alphabet, counting to 10, simple phrases, etc...) but they require a more structured approach if they're to truly learn the language. They participate in numerous activities outside of school, so I think 1-2 hours on Saturday or Sunday mornings would be best. I assumed we would host the lessons at my home in Broomall. I'd consider beginning the lessons the weekend of Nov 11.

I would like to learn Greek, always admired the language and have some extra time now that my children are older.
