Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Adobe Flash

My own business web site is a Flash site. I've used a Flash banner in my wife's site. Been using Flash for years and taught it as a class while an instructor with CompUSA.

Adobe Illustrator

I've been using Adobe programs since the mid '90s and although I'm most familiar with Flash and Photoshop, most Adobe products are quite similar with regard to tools and features. I can certainly help you learn Illustrator.

Adobe Photoshop

I've been using Photoshop since the mid 90s and can certainly help you master the features you want to learn.

Dreamweaver

I've been doing website design since the mid 90s and have completed a couple dozen simple websites. I haven't kept up with the back-end commerce technologies but am still proficient with the front-end content and graphics side. My favorite authoring tool is Dreamweaver; I have been using it for many, many years and have taught numerous website & HTML classes over the past 17 years. Even though my own site is done in Flash, I still use Dreamweaver to edit my band's website every month. I am also proficient at buying and using Flash and HTML templates to expedite development time. Creating site content and graphics is the easy part. Planning ahead and getting organized prior to shipping the site to the host server is the most important concept to master in my opinion. I can assist in domain name choice, purchase and registration. I can even recommend top-shelf ISP hosting services based on personal experience.

General Computer

Technology Instructor to the Professors!

Microsoft Access

While teaching software courses for CompUSA, I had to pass [their] certification tests. This is how I earned my MOS Master Instructor certification, that was a few years ago. However, I have personally kept up with the newest operating systems and latest Microsoft Office Suites. A few years back, I was teaching Access classes from beginner, through intermediate into advanced. I haven't seen many requests lately for personal Access tutoring but I can assure you... I'll bet I can help you learn/master what you need to know.

Microsoft Excel

Technology instructor to the professors!

Microsoft Outlook

I've been teaching Outlook since the mid 90s. While with CompuUSA, I was hand-picked by my supervisor to be part of a transition team. Local businesses would hire this team to help the business transition from one OS to another OS, from one MS Office Suite to another, from one email program to another. My job was to go in a week prior to the OS changeover (typically happened during a weekend), train all the company's employees on their new Outlook program, then work another week with them answering all their Outlook questions and getting them up to speed.

Microsoft PowerPoint

I've been teaching PowerPoint professionally for almost ten years now. Hundreds of satisfied clients.

Microsoft Windows

I've been teaching Microsoft Operating classes of all levels since 2001 when I was first certified as a CompUSA instructor. I have expert knowledge levels in Microsoft OSes 95, 98, 2000, XP & Win7. I hold a Microsoft Office Specialist Master Instructor certification and have expert knowledge levels in most Microsoft Office products including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Internet Explorer and all recent operating systems. I can teach all levels of computer users all levels of Microsoft operating systems.

Microsoft Word

I've been teaching beginner, intermediate and advanced Word software classes since 2000 to all levels of computer users. If you want to master features in Word, you've contacted the right instructor. I am a MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) Master Instructor.

Excellent Tutor! — Keith is a great tutor! He has the patience (as they say) "of a saint"! He is willing to come to your home and that was a major deciding factor for me. I am creating a website and have needed a great deal of help and instruction. Keith has stepped me through everything with precise detail. I have taken notes, which he edits to ensure I don't forget any steps and explains them in layman’s terms I ...
