I am a certified teacher in the West Virginia Department of Education, mercer County Board of Education, and have been a college professor and assistant dean for decades. On the collegiate level, I have taught courses in multiple sub fields of psychology and sociology, cultural anthropology, and speech/debate. I received the outstanding teacher of the year by vote of the students for four years and won the NISOD excellence award in 2012.
I am a devout believer in Rogerian approaches to pedagogy and counseling. I am a recipient of the Hopkins Share Award of Harvard by vote of the faculty of Harvard University. I refuse to meet alone with minor students and require parental accompaniment in all sessions. I do not discriminate based on race, sex, sexual orientation, religion, or national origin. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have taught Anthropology and Cultural Anthropology in college for ten years. My courses were approved by Northcentral and credits were given to my students. I have lectured on both anthropological methodologies and their relation to archeological methodologies. I have conducted cross cultural exchange studies on the collegiate level for more than ten years. I hold academic credits in comparative religious studies and their cultural impacts. I have completed courses in cultural anthropology, biological anthropology, a study of the classics in Ancient Greece and their contributions to today's field of anthropology, and have done extensive research in Applachian anthropology, including serpent handlers and their views of faith and mortality.
I played baseball my whole life. From little league to semiprofessional baseball. I have been an assistant coach, a pitching coach and a trainer on the college level.
I have a master's of divinity from Harvard, read biblical Greek and have taught religion in college.
I have taught classics on the college level, courses in Famous Greeks beginning with the pre-Socratics up through the neoplatonists. I have taught Koine Greek and taught Heracles, Thimistocles, and Aristote's ethics. I have also taught a corresponding course on famous Roman leaders from Cicero to Mark Anthony. My courses were approved by North Central and full credits were awarded to enrolled students who passed the courses.
I am an approved substitute teacher for all grades and all subjects by the Mercer County Board of Education in WV. I teach nearly every day already.

I hold a master's degree from Harvard and have taught college level courses for ten years including basic study skills. I served as the coordinator of the Title III program at Concord University, specializing in student support for learning disabled students, ADA students, 504 students and student athletes. I have been an official note taker and know Manual communication skills. I do not read Braille.
