West Chester University (Exercise Science)
Graduated West Virginia University with a 3.25 GPA while playing college football. I majored in Exercise Science while pursuing a career in physical therapy. During school I played football as well as worked as a physical therapist aid at Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab.
I have experience tutoring during college in various subjects such as math and some science classes. These were during my sophomore and junior years and I stopped in order to focus more on football and passing my own classes.
I also tutored after college on my own as well. I helped with elementary, middle and high school math and science classes as well.
I excelled at math throughout my entire life. I understand the concepts as well as how to teach math to people with different learning strategies. Having such a strong background and understanding of math allowed me to excel as a tutor in the subject.
Being an exercise science major also allowed me to take multiple anatomy and physiology classes that I did well in throughout college. I was able to learn all the systems and the body and able to extend my knowledge towards helping others learn it as well.
I am open to tutoring in multiple subjects. Feel free to contact me at any time and hopefully we can set up some jetting times. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
