Greetings! My name is Annie. I am a West Virginia native. I play guitar and sing and write songs and perform them in front of crowds large and small. I've traveled all over the world doing that and many other things. I am also a fluent French speaker and an avid reader and learner.
I would love to help you improve your vocal technique and range for personal or professional performance. I can give you tips on how to keep your cool in front of a crowd and project your voice with confidence, either singing or speaking. AND, if you are learning French I can help with every aspect of the language, from vocabulary to pronunciation and conversation. I look forward to working with you!
My initiation to the French language was in a classroom but I honed and perfected my language skills by total immersion in the culture. I have lived and worked in French-speaking Belgium as well as in France.
I have been performing for the public since I was a child. I did years of theatre in addition to musical performance. I am totally at ease on stage in from of an audience or a group. Additionally, I am a stickler for excellent grammar and phrasing. I am quick to spot errors and re-phrase myself or offer suggestions for re-writes.
I have a lifelong career as a singer/vocalist. I've spent the last 15 years in Nashville, TN performing live as well as in the studio for hundreds of different projects. I can offer guidance in all aspects of vocal performance in country, bluegrass, blues, R&B and rock. Along the way, I have gained an enormous amount of knowledge of the history of American music.
I would love to meet you and see how my skills can help you develop your career or personal goals! Cheers! Greetings! My name is Annie. I am a West Virginia native. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have been an entertainer for over 20 years and have performed in front of crowds from 5-5000 people. I am wholly comfortable on stage. Additionally, in my daily work, I have conducted meetings for staff and made product presentations for the interior design community in Seattle, Dallas, Atlanta, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.
