I believe we all learn in different ways. I believe a good tutor will use all of the ways we learn to help you, the student, understand. We learn by hearing (audio), with pictures (video), with books (reading), and by project steps (bullets, etc.) to achieve complete understanding.
I also believe we learn and teach new concepts to ourselves and each other every day. I never want to stop learning, and I don't think I will.

Need a job? You probably need a good resume. I can help. You and I can put together a professional, eye-catching resume. We will list the jobs you have had to outline your career path(s). Be warned--I ask a lot of questions in order to put together the best words for your perfect resume. You may even need two resumes if you are applying for jobs in different fields. For example, you may have a "Human Resource" resume and a "Criminology" resume.
You will get more attention for that job you are applying for if you upload that resume to their website or email address. I can help you do that also. Call me. I don't bite.
General computer is a very broad term. Being a tutor, it means a conversation with the student to understand what their future goals are, and to take the baby steps to reach those goals. These steps could mean anything from basic typing skills to setting up a blog. Other stages could be understanding basic concepts of the Windows or Macintosh filing systems, email, document and spreadsheet creation, or just about anything the student wants to learn about a computer. The opportunities are endless.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. I have worked at The Boeing Company in Seattle, Washington and the Microsoft Company in Bellevue, Washington. From all this experience, I have learned one thing--everything starts out small, but takes teamwork, guts, and out-of-the-box thinking. But most of all keep it fun.
More companies are discovering the power of Excel. From charts, graphs, pivot tables to simple or complex spreadsheets; Excel is the software product you need to impress anyone. I can help you no matter what your skill level. It is my favorite tool.
I took a course called Microsoft Project to complete my Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Management at the University of Phoenix. We had to build a house from the ground up using Project. I also used Project when I worked at The Boeing Company to track specific projects that were assigned to me as my job required. I found it to be a powerful tool with many advantages for tracking, and I have owned my own copy of the software for many years. I feel I can teach this with confidence.
