About Lori

I have been a teacher for 30 years, and enjoy helping others. I have mostly taught at the elementary level, but for the last couple years, I have been a Reading Teacher at a local high school. I find a way to meet students where they are at academically, and move them forward from there.

I have done tutoring at a local tutoring center, and have worked with many students one on one.

I have a 316/317 Reading Specialist license. I have been a teacher for 30 years.

I enjoy seeing others learn as we explore new topics.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
