I have a bachelor's degree in Japanese language from Carthage College, and I spent half a year in Japan. In college I was the Japanese Fellowship student and won various scholarships and honors within my degree. I was also the tutor for the major my senior year. I have plenty of experience teaching a wide range of ages, and I absolutely love teaching and helping others to understand a language.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Japanese language from Carthage College. During my college career I tutored several students on a regular basis and also was the Japanese Club President. I also spent half a year studying abroad in Tokyo, Japan while staying in an International dormitory. I have several language workbooks from both America and Japan to use as teaching aids along with several other helpful language guides.
