About Phillip

Bio

I teach at Platteville Public High School. I have been teaching 11 years, subjects include World History, Geography, U.S. History, Economics, AP Macro and Micro Economics, Government, and Global Studies. I am a passionate communicator with a diverse history of interacting with people from diverse backgrounds from all over the world. I have lived overseas and visited 8 other countries around the world. I have been leading and teaching youth in some form or fashion for over 13 years.

I teach at Platteville Public High School. I have been teaching 11 years, subjects include World History, Geography, U.S. History, Economics, AP Macro and Micro Economics, Government, and Global Studies. I am a passionate communicator with a diverse history of interacting with people from diverse backgrounds from all over the world. I have lived overseas and visited 8 other countries around the world. I have been leading and teaching youth in some form or fashion for over 13 years.

I am a father of 4 children, a 10 year old, 7 year old, 4 year old and 2 year old. I am active in Platteville, volunteering my time at the high school and Emmaus Bible College in their Teacher Education Program. I am a Pastor/Elder and Bible Study leader at Rolling Hills Church in Platteville. Regardless of where I go teaching is my passion.

I have been teaching students AP Macro and Micro Economics for 7 years, preparing them to test out of college level Macro and Micro Economic Courses.

My undergraduate degree was Social Studies Comprehensive - which means I have knowledge to teach all social studies topics; for example, U.S. History, World History, Government, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Geography, etc.

Great Tutor for AP Micro

Phillip helped my 11th grader prepare for AP Micro and it all went fantastic! He is a very patient and also fun tutor who knows how to explain complicated subjects. My son was looking forward to his tutoring sessions and has improved so much in his grades thanks to Phillip . Great tutor!!!
