I really enjoy helping students understand physics and mathematics! I have over twelve years of experience teaching physics at the undergraduate level. After completing a postdoctoral position at U of MN-Twin Cities and my doctoral degree at U of IL-Urbana Champaign, I discovered my love for teaching. I find it very helpful to analyze a student's current understanding to see where problems and challenges are. It is very rewarding to me to have students reach that "aha" moment when they grasp a particular concept. My students learn how to take a physics quiz or test and the importance of practicing under a time constraint. Besides physics, I also like to tutor high school and early college mathematics.
Extensive use of mathematics in my undergraduate and graduate studies.
Earned a Ph.D. in physics from U of IL at Urbana-Champaign and taught general physics for over twelve years at the undergraduate level.
If you need help in physics and mathematics, I look forward to hearing from you and scheduling a lesson.
