I have many years of K-8 substitute teaching with the Arrowhead School District and have provided tutoring to at-risk children.
My experiences with students includes classroom setting and small groups and one-on-one and with students that have special needs. I have also coached volleyball and soccer for boys and girls. I have a strong background in math and have tutored students and assisted in classroom settings for K-8.
For over 18 years, I was the Managing Editor for a financial publishing firm. During my professional career, I oversaw the marketing and office communications for several businesses. I am comfortable speaking in public.

I am easy to get along with and take pride in finding the best way to communicate material to each individual. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
