I am an experienced chemistry teacher who has taught on the college and high school level. Student evaluations of my teaching has always been very high. I was usually recognized as an "Honored Teacher" by my students. In 2013 I received the Wisconsin Kohl Fellowship Award for doing an outstanding job of teaching science. It is given to a very limited number of teachers each year for teaching excellence and innovation in the state of Wisconsin. I am now a retired High School Chemistry teacher who still loves helping students of all levels learn Chemistry. I have worked with students with various learning disabilities as well as gifted students.

I have a Master's degree in Chemistry and have taught 32 years on the high school, technical college, community college, and university levels. Eight of those years were at the Red Wing Energy Center which prepared students for a career the alternative energies such as solar, biomass, and wind.
