I am a highly qualified (per NCLB) and certificated educator with a Masters' in special education and a bachelors in rehabilitation psychology.
Prior to entering the K12 sector I was a GED coach for adult learnings. I enjoy teaching reading, writing, math, and biology.

Group Rates (children): $55/hr Adult Rate (18+) $60/hr Minimum of 2 hours per week. Lessons exceeding 3 hours are subject to an additional $15/hour at the start of the 3rd hour.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I am a certified special education teacher, and all my courses are aligned to the Common Core State Standards per district wide mandate.

Special Needs

I have completed a Master's degree in special education. While completed this degree program I was enrolled and successfully completed a reading intervention course. Additionally, I hold a Bachelor's in Rehabilitation Psychology. Additionally, I hold a WI State Teaching License as a cross categorical special educator which allows me to teach all students regardless of disability. As a teacher, I have taught students with learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, Autism, Aspergers, Dyslexia, and cognitive disabilities. Additionally, I have experience in an Elementary and/or Middle School setting for 2.5 years. My course load has required me to teach reading, writing, English Language Arts, and math.
