I have tutoring experience with children, adolescents, and adults both abroad and domestically. I hold a letter of recommendation from a professional position I held in Alaska. I was the Academic Advisor and Tutor for students at risk of failing as well as college bound high school students at a boarding school. During my time at the school the students had the lowest failure rate and highest gpa overall in the past 6 years prior to my arrival and program implementation. I'm an educator and counselor who believes it's important to make learning fun while empowering my students to build on their strengths and assets as learners.

I'm a native English speaker and I love writing, speaking, and reading. I have taught basic English for two years abroad to new adult learners as a second language. I was a very strong academic learner and I'm a very patient teacher.

I was a K12 School Counselor for 10 years and I taught developmental life skills as well as study skills to students and I am a very strong speller.
