I am currently a Japanese Studies major at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I am in my final semester of Japanese with a 4.0. My biggest interest is the Japanese language and I am happy to tutor or teach beginner to intermediate Japanese to anyone willing to learn! There are a variety of ways to improve your Japanese by immersing yourself in the language. I would like to introduce a bit of Japanese culture as well in my lessons. Japanese is a difficult language, but I think it can be very rewarding if you stick with it and take it one step at a time.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am currently a Japanese Studies major with 3 years of college level Japanese in my last semester. I am willing to tutor beginner to intermediate Japanese which includes hiragana, katakana, and a variety of important kanji used in the writing system.
