I have a Bachelors degree in Accounting and an Associates degree in Microcomputers. I am also a certified Health Unit Coordinator. I started working as a Student tutor at the local college I attended in 1994. I graduated in 1996. I returned to same college for an Accounting degree and graduated in 2007. I tutored college students at my local college until 2013 and I have been tutoring privately since 2000. In 2014, I received my Bachelor's degree from Upper Iowa University.

One-on-One Tutor: $60/hr. Block 2 hours or more a week the rate is $50/hr. (ex. 9am- 11am) Group Tutor: $70/hr for the first hour and $60/hr after.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have an Associate degree in computers that I received in 1996. Hardware and software was the focus. I learned Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and many other software programs including Microsoft Access as part of my degree. I have tutored students since 1994 in that subject. I can usually figure out how to use software that is new to me.
