Hi! I am Brittany M. a certified Business Education teacher and have been teaching for two years. Prior to teaching I was in the business field where I was an HR manager. I am in the process of receiving my computer science license so that I can teach computer science to high school and middle school aged students. I have a true passion for Business and Math. I have been tutoring students for 6 years now and have had great success with my students ranging from pre- k to college age and non traditional students.
I began tutoring by helping others in my business class in high school. In college, I worked as a private tutor for Business Math, Economics, and finance with Trio Collegiate Services at Bowling Green State University.
I use a multi- sensory approach to introduce children to the wonderful world of stories, sounds and letters.
Through a variety of reading activities, your child gets to see, hear, touch and move around — a truly engaging approach to learning to read

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have experience in the business field of working as a HR manager. I am also experienced as I have taught business and finance classes at the high school and middle school level. I have taught Accounting, Personal Finance, Marketing, Computer Applications which is getting students to know Microsoft office. I also teach students how to use a Mac machine.
I am a qualified tutor in K-6 because I have worked with younger kids as a leader in 4H. I am a 4H advisor where I teach youth about agriculture and animals. I believe that students in this age group like to do hands-on activities and hear, touch and move around to understand the concept. I find that if students are able to do these things, its a more truly engaging approach to learning. I currently teach 7 and 8th grade. Prior to teaching, I tutored a 5th and 6th grade student in reading and math to help bring them up to speed. When I left them they were excelling those subjects.
I have learned to use Java script thru Khan Academy and have been very successful at it. I have taken that knowledge to help teach it in my class room for CS.
I am qualified for using a Macintosh product as my district that I currently am in is one to one with apple products. I use MACs everyday and show students how to use them and incorporate them into my classroom and students every day learning .
