St. Norbert College (Biology)
Hello! My full name is Malgorzata, but I go by Gosia. I started tutoring the my senior year of high school and continued that summer. My math teacher recommended me to her neighbor, to help two elementary school students strengthen their math and reading and writing skills. After working with them for a while, I was recommended as a tutor for two other families in the area (with 3 new students!). After I moved away to college, from the Chicago suburbs, I was not able to continue tutoring.
I am currently in my 3rd year at St. Norbert College, in De Pere, studying Biology, as well as Fine Art. Last school year, I volunteered at the YMCA afterschool programs, and have been working with children (though summer camps/programming) for the past 3 summers.
I also taught Catechism for High school sophomores for St. Francis Xavier Parish in De Pere, WI - and hope to continue this year as well!
I've always been successful in Math, and have experience tutoring it to 3rd grade students.
I am very passionate about the sciences - Biology in particular - and would love to help students get the hang of it.
I have been a passionate bookworm since I can remember - and would love to opportunity to spread that love of literature with others -and I also have experience helping students become better readers (and learn their letters for the younger scholars!)
I would love to have the opportunity to help you strengthen your skills and get to know you as a person. Hello! My full name is Malgorzata, but I go by Gosia. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
