I have been a tutor for 8 years locally, serving the entire Wenatchee Valley. Prior to moving here, I worked for Sylvan Learning Centers for 2 years, where I tutored all the higher-level math students, administered diagnostic and periodic assessments, and taught many SAT preparation classes.
My tutoring business is in addition to my teaching position at a local Christian school. I have had students of all ages, including college students and adults looking to continue their education for their employment and personal satisfaction. I have tutored just about every math subject offered in this valley, as well as most science and computer courses. Because of my unique abilities, I have even had great success helping students pass courses that I personally have not taken. I am also a coach and play various sports, giving me common ground with many hard-to-reach students. Connecting with your tutor, respecting their knowledge, trusting the process, and feeling confident are the keys to a successful tutoring relationship. These are things I strive for and attain consistently.
I have a proven method and guaranteed results! I have NEVER had a student of mine fail, either academically or personally.
The combination of my laid-back style and hands-on approach have helped dozens of students-you could be next!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
