My name is Anne D'Achille. I graduated from Texas Christian University with a Ph.D. in Chemistry (specifically Materials Chemistry). I earned my B.S in Chemistry with a minor in Physics from Grove City College in Pennsylvania. Both as an undergraduate and a graduate student, I was deeply impacted by the professors and their enthusiasm for their subject, as well as the necessity of peers to work with and learn with.

Phenomenal, Insightful, and most importantly Patient!
I was struggling with my General Chemistry I Lecture for College; in fact I was on the verge of failing. I met Anne halfway through the semester and she managed to pull off a miracle; she not only taught me the rest of the semester but taught me the first half of the lessons my professor was failing to properly teach in a way I would understand. There were times when I felt like I wasn't understanding the material but Anne would encourage me and ALWAYS repeated something if I said I couldn't remember or understand. I went into my Final Exam thinking I could pass the course pass with a "C" if lucky but anticipated getting a "D". After all, I struggled with the course from High School all the way into College. MY FINAL GRADE FOR THE COURSE WAS A FREAKING "B"!!! I was so happy!!! Now I am taking General Chemistry II Lecture and you bet I made sure Anne was my tutor again from the very start of the course. I highly recommend her if you struggle with Chemistry; especially the mathematics portion of it. Her teaching methods are insightful and if you are willing to put as much effort into studying with her as much as she puts in the effort to teach you, then you will notice significant progress!!
