Hi, my name is Jasmine and I’m from Spokane, Washington. I earned my degree in Neuroscience with minors in chemistry, biology, and psychology in 2016. After that, I did research in cancer immunology until 2020. Now I am a medical student and planning on going into surgery.

I have been tutoring math and life sciences since 2011 and have enjoyed every second of it! I absolutely love sharing my passion for these subjects with anyone who needs help learning them or is just curious. I know they can be challenging and frustrating a lot of the time but I will try to make things as clear as possible while keeping things light and digestible.

I've tutored a range of math levels from algebra to calculus. I prefer teaching algebra because the students I've had the pleasure of teaching this struggle with math the most due to it being the first step into more challenging courses. I love engaging students who feel disconnected from such a different way of thinking that they are used to.

I am a current medical student who excelled in the anatomy and physiology coursework. From 2021-2022, I was a Peer-Anatomy Lead where I taught 1st-year students their required anatomy courses and guided them through dissections. I also served as an MCAT tutor and application mentor for pre-medical students in the summers of 2021 and 2022. During my undergraduate studies, I tutored general chemistry, organic chemistry, general biology, and cell biology.
