Columbia Basin Technical Skills Center (Film and TV)
Film and TV have been my fiery passions since I saw my first movie at the theatre when I was three. Ever since I was old enough to be trusted with a video camera I have been doing all I could possibly do to grow as a director. I never stop learning and love to share my knowledge with anyone who wishes to learn this beautiful art form.
I have been in the TV industry since the age of thirteen. I started out by walking onto the high school campus and getting a position in the high school television crew. The class recorded live events such as football, basketball, plays, concerts, parades, pageants, local events, etc. Not only did we record them, we did it all live on television. Our high school TV crew was outstandingly better than the local TV station. Through this program I met many contacts and became a very skilled cameraman, editor, audio tech, director, etc. I have the experience and knowledge of a veteran in the industry and I am only eighteen.
Working in the TV and Film industry for five years almost every day. I am certified as a Audio Visual specialist and have received many awards for my camerawork and editing skills. I have the specialism of a forty year old cameraman but I am only eighteen.
If you want to learn basic or simply hone your skills in any sort of position in the industry then I will happily help you. If you need aid in making a film, short film, or online series I will gladly help you in any way possible. You must have your own equipment. I have been part of many films while working with my first TV production crew. We created many commercials, dedication videos, even documentaries. Other than those short films I have directed and shot many independent short films highlighting my personal taste of cinematography and storytelling. I have created and helped create a plethora of different films ranging from ten minute comedy skits to full hour and a half dramas.
I have been a photographer for many years and have actually sold my work to people for hundreds of dollars. I have used all types of photo cameras ranging from throw away kodaks to professional canons and sonys. I recently was employed as a portrait photographer a couple months ago and sold my photos for hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars.
I have been a cameraman in the TV industry since the age of thirteen. I've worked with the full span of cameras. The hundred pound metal reel cameras all the way to the modern 4K cameras. Throughout my years I have operated and directed every camera position there is. From the wide main tri pod shot to the handheld special shot, I have perfected them all. I have also operated every position there is. My first year I was twenty percent cameraman, eighty percent replay operator. After that first year I made it my goal to go through the ranks and perfect every position. I ended my career with that station being its director. I went passed my goal and now I am considered a veteran in the industry but I'm only the age of eighteen.
