I have 13 years experience tutoring math and 12 years experience tutoring science. For math, I have tutored algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus (differential, integral, and sequences and series) most often. For science, I have tutored chemistry (general and organic) and biology (general—high school and college) most often.

What I enjoy most about about tutoring is helping students develop the tools to find the answers. My approach is therefore to refer back to course materials or online resources so that the student can see the process taken to arrive at a conclusion. Consequently, I ask many of questions that lead the student to the answer. I will also try to summarize the process of solving the problem once it is completed, because I find reviewing helpful in cementing the concepts just covered.
