For the past twelve years, I have studied fine art; independent study at Spring Studio in New York, art education from the Cleveland institute of Art, and real world tutelage in film and video production. It was during my time in college that I first began tutoring third, fourth, and fifth graders on English and Reading Comprehension. After two semesters of tutoring language skills, I became the Teaching Assistant for my major's department, Sculpture and Expanded Media, which involved duties such as taking the time to troubleshooting issues for other students, preparing materials for instructors presentations, and assisting in class presentations. to name just a few. During my time as Teaching Assistant, I received an opportunity to be Co-Creator and Assistant Director for an independent production of a television pilot. As A.D., I was involved with creating, writing, scheduling, casting, and filming.
With my education and working experience, I have an in-depth comprehension of various Canon and Nikon cameras, 16mm film cameras, production equipment e.g., lighting, set construction, audio, camera rig setup, Avid, After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, Narrative Writing, Modernist Theory eighteenth to the twentieth century.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I attended the Cleveland Institute of Art where I studied both digital video and film production. I have working comprehension on Nikon D90 and newer, Canon 60D and newer, Bolex 16mm film camera, digital and acetate film editing. While in college I worked as Assistant director for an independent production of a television pilot.

During college, I also worked part time as a school photographer which gave me real world training in three-point lighting, capturing live action stills, portraits, and techniques for quickly adjusting exposure time, iso, or aperture while maintaining quality client experiences.
