About Kyoko

I'm a Native Japanese speaker who was born and raised in Japan. I speak English fluently and teach Japanese, Piano, drawing, and Architecture. I listen and teach patiently from my heart. I received a Bachelor of Education and Fine Arts in Japan, a Master of Architecture and MBA in the U.S. I'm a licensed architect and sustainable design professional as well.

Teaching is my passion - as much as architecture - and what I'm good at. I've been tutoring very diversified students in all ages, skill sets, and academic levels, including business personnel and special-needs. They all enjoyed studying with me and achieved their own specific goals.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Knowledgable and Patient Tutor

Kyoko is a very knowledgable and patient tutor. Our first lesson was very thorough and covered the Japanese writing system of Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji. We learned the pronunciation of Hiragana and Katakana and how to say "hello", "goodbye", "good morning", and "goodnight". We look forward to more lessons with Kyoko!
