Bio

Born in Tokyo, I have lived as a bicultural bilingual. Using this background, I have worked in Public Relations for the last 14 years, as well as Translating Japanese/English, English/Japanese material ranging from automotive manuals and websites to foreign exchange regulations and political literature. Most recently, I have been privileged to work with Mr. Woodford concerning the financial scandal of Olympus Corporation, as well as with Dr. Casto, former Regional Administrator of the U.S....

Most recently, I have been privileged to work with Mr. Woodford concerning the financial scandal of Olympus Corporation, as well as with Dr. Casto, former Regional Administrator of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Academic positions I have held include several research assistantships for university professors of political science, but also teaching assistantships for junior high school~adult students for ELT and JLT, as well as work as a Japanese Instructor with the Minato-ku Board of Education in Tokyo, Japan, teaching Japanese to expatriate children.

I have a Bachelor's in Political Science from Temple University, and a Master's in International Studies, specializing on Japanese politics from the University of Washington. I am currently a PhD student at the University of Washington researching political sociology of Japanese society. I have extensive teaching and research assistantship experience for both political scientists and sociologists at both universities.
