I've been tutoring a high school student when I was in the graduate school of LA Tech (MS Candidate). I did him a favor on physics and pre-calculus. That was a helpful and joyful experience for both of us, and he went to Harvard College in September, 2012, majored in economics. I love helping people and enjoy the feeling of being needed by someone. If you give me the chance to assist you, I will ensure that I can give you a big helping hand on your subjects.

Mandarin Chinese is my mother tongue, I can speak a little bit of Cantonese as well. I'd been helping some students on obtaining the Chinese language skills. I learned Chinese for Foreigners, Chinese Language and Literature, Sinology when I was in college. I'd studied the Peony Pavilion, which is a play written by Tang Xianzu in the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644) and Dream of the Red Chamber, also called The Story of the Stone, which was composed by Cao Xueqin and was written sometime in the middle of the 18th century during the Qing Dynasty (1644–1911).

Calculus,

Calculus

My experience in tutoring this subjects begins with an introduction to functions and limits, and goes on to explain derivatives. The student will have learnt the fundamental theorem of calculus, chain rule, derivatives of transcendental functions, integration, and applications of all these in the real world. My students also learn an introduction to sequences, sequences and series, infinite series, convergence tests, and Taylor series. My course design emphasizes not just getting answers, but asking the question "why is this true?"
